Kangen water machine price in India, and an Indian-made alternative
Kangen machines cost ₹2 to 4.5 lakh in India. Here is what you pay for, what Kangen water actually is, and how AlkaFresh IonX compares.

What Kangen water is
Kangen water is the brand name used by Enagic, a Japanese company, for the alkaline ionized water its Leveluk machines produce. The machine uses electrolysis across platinum-coated titanium plates to split tap water into alkaline drinking water and acidic water. That is the same process every water ionizer uses. The word Kangen is a trademark, the water science is not.
Kangen water machine price in India
From public listings and distributor quotes in 2026, Kangen machines in India cost roughly:
- Leveluk JRIV: about ₹1,50,000 to ₹2,00,000
- Leveluk SD501: about ₹2,50,000 to ₹3,00,000
- Leveluk K8: about ₹3,50,000 to ₹4,50,000
Prices vary because the machines are imported, duty and shipping apply, and they are sold through a multi-level distributor network where commissions are built into the price.
Where the money goes
A large part of the price is not the machine. It is import duty, currency, and distributor margins. Spare parts and service also come through the same chain, which is why a plate or filter replacement can take weeks.
The AlkaFresh IonX alternative
AlkaFresh is designed and built in India by Licure Technology, a water purification manufacturer since 2005. The IonX 1101 has 11 platinum-coated titanium plates, a 150 W SMPS, ORP to -750 mV and hydrogen to 1600 PPB. It adds three things imported machines do not have:
- pH calibration to your home's water at installation.
- Auto pH control that keeps output steady when TDS changes.
- Wi-Fi with app control, remote service and firmware updates.
The IonX 1101 is offered at ₹59,999 in the Diwali offer against an MRP of ₹99,999, with free delivery across India.
Our honest position
We are not affiliated with Enagic and we do not sell Kangen water. If you want the Kangen brand, buy Kangen. If you want alkaline, hydrogen-rich ionized water that is set for Indian water and serviced in India, compare the IonX side by side or book a free demo and test the water with a meter in your own kitchen.
