What is a water ionizer and how is it different from an RO purifier?
An RO purifier removes impurities. A water ionizer takes that clean water and uses electrolysis across platinum-titanium plates to split it into alkaline water for drinking and acidic water for washing. AlkaFresh ionizers are installed after your existing RO or a pre-filter.
What does pH calibration mean for me?
The pH you get depends on the minerals in your water. Our engineer measures your source water at installation and calibrates the machine so that level 1 to 4 on the display map to verified pH values. If your water changes, we can re-calibrate remotely.
What is auto pH control?
The ionizer monitors flow and conductivity and adjusts current in real time so the water stays at the level you selected, instead of drifting when pressure or temperature changes.
Does the ionizer need internet to work?
No. All daily controls work from the panel without internet. Wi-Fi is used for the app, live readings, alerts, remote service and firmware updates.
How does remote service work?
When you approve a service session in the app, our engineers can connect to your machine, run tests, review readings, adjust parameters and push firmware updates. You can end the session at any time, and we never access your home network beyond the ionizer.
Which Wi-Fi network should I use?
A 2.4 GHz network. If you have a dual-band router and the machine does not appear, enable the 2.4 GHz band or compatibility mode and keep the ionizer close to the router during setup.
Does the ionizer need a filter?
The AlkaFresh ionizer does not have a built-in filter. It is installed after your existing RO purifier or a simple pre-filter, depending on your water. Our engineer checks your water at installation and recommends what is needed.
What is the price of the IonX 1101?
The IonX 1101 has an MRP of ₹99,999 and is offered at ₹59,999 in the Diwali offer, with free delivery. Other models are priced on request based on configuration and installation requirements. Contact us for a quote and demo.
Do you deliver and install across India?
Yes. Orders are dispatched within 2 to 3 business days and installation is arranged through our engineer network. Delivery timelines vary by location.
Is AlkaFresh an alternative to a Kangen water machine?
Yes. Kangen is a brand of Enagic (Japan), sold in India at roughly ₹2 to 4.5 lakh through distributors. AlkaFresh IonX ionizers use the same principle, electrolysis across platinum-coated titanium plates, and add pH calibration for Indian water, auto pH control and Wi-Fi remote service. The IonX series starts at ₹54,999. We are not affiliated with Enagic.
What is the alkaline water machine price in India?
Imported ionizers cost ₹1.5 to 4.5 lakh. Indian-made AlkaFresh ionizers start lower: the IonX series starts at ₹54,999 and the IonX 1101 is ₹59,999 in the Diwali offer (MRP ₹99,999), with free delivery. Other IonX and Maxx models are priced on request. Alkaline RO purifiers at ₹15,000 to 25,000 are a different product: they add minerals but do not ionize water.
Is a hydrogen water machine the same as a water ionizer?
Mostly yes. A water ionizer produces alkaline water that is rich in dissolved hydrogen as a result of electrolysis. The IonX 1101 is designed for up to 1600 PPB of hydrogen and ORP down to -750 mV, so it works as a hydrogen water machine and an alkaline water machine in one.
Can we take a commercial RO plant or ionizer on rent?
Yes. Commercial RO plants and commercial water ionizers are available on monthly rent for industries, hotels, hospitals, offices and institutions. Rent includes installation, routine maintenance and service. Contact us with your daily water requirement for a rental proposal.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Warranty terms depend on the model and are stated on your invoice. Keep the invoice and machine serial handy when raising a service request.
